Daily Recap
When the ES RTH opened today, there was a strong and violent move up in the first 5 seconds that set my senses on fire. Based on that large move up, with a topping pattern, and then immediately back down, I disqualified 2 of my ES trades. As the morning progressed, the ES and NQ sold off in unison and I eventually had a short setup on the NQ. I entered on a rather large down move and when the market moved back up to hit my first add-in, I decided I wanted to exit the trade sooner than later (I didn’t like price action, or my entry location), so I exited with approximately $30 in profit per account and stopped trading. Even though the market would have moved to my ultimate profit target, I am still happy that I made good trading decisions and cumulatively I am happy with the profit across accounts (even if not happy profit per account is very low).
